ONCE TOGETHER, NOW MILES APART

 ONCE TOGETHER, NOW MILES APART

Yesterdays were we lovers
Hopeful to be forever.
How things changed faster.
These days are we now haters
Unable to love any longer.

Situation seemed so battered.
If bitter, it could still get better.
For many things bitter are good.
But what is battered isn't good.

Sometimes I wondered,
Why we didn’t soared higher?
All the while, no answer.
I wouldn’t know and who knows;
Perhaps, the wrong we did together
Put us asunder
Or simply, we aren’t meant for each other?

Truly, some relationships didn’t work
For those involved failed to make it work.
While some relationships failed
For it ought not to be.
Differed to failure to love enough.

Whatever was/is our own case,
To all the people nearer and 'farer'
in the world over
That we had once being together,
Did things together,
Shared things together,
But we are now miles apart;
I humbly take time out to say thank you
For being part of my life when you did.
It wasn't by mistake we didn't last forever
Inspite of our differences
and what we had in common.
Should we live again
I will be glad
To meet you again
For better times -
For bigger gains together.

Always declare blessings upon anyone (or any people) you were once together but now miles apart (for the time shared) regardless of the best/worst that transpired between you. Then, peace will rule from coast to coast to heal up every hurt (if there is any) caused/suffered by either party(ies). This could pave way for smooth restoration of relationship(s) that should be restored and peaceful dissolution of the one(s) that should remain dissolved without having anything against the other.
